Links International . We are seeking a
Platform Operations Engineer - ICT ( Public sector)
to manage enterprise-level infrastructure services for public sector and non-government entities. This is a strategic role focused on delivering robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure solutions that support mission-critical operations.
Responsibilities
Deliver core infrastructure services including network, servers, backup systems, and desktop support.
Manage data centre and server room operations to ensure service continuity.
Drive innovation through new initiatives and enhancements in network and server technologies.
Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to plan and execute infrastructure projects.
Design infrastructure solutions in alignment with current and future needs.
Monitor and maintain infrastructure services, resolving issues and implementing improvements.
Oversee the full procurement cycle, including budgeting, vendor selection, and invoice verification.
Forecast budgets and track expenditure utilization.
Act as the Infrastructure team\'s Point-of-Contact for new projects and initiatives.
Support application systems infrastructure in collaboration with consultants, users, and vendors.
Participate in Architecture Review and Governance processes to ensure operational sustainability and resilience.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head of IT or CIO.
Requirements
Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field.
3-5 years of experience in enterprise-level ICT infrastructure design, deployment, and management.
Strong technical knowledge in network and server technologies, with expertise in infrastructure security.
Proven track record in data centre operations, vendor management, and infrastructure service delivery.
Familiarity with Singapore government IT infrastructure and processes is a plus.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and resourceful with excellent organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Contract Duration: 24 Months
