Cloud Core Engineer Cloud Core Engineer focuses on the foundational infrastructure and delivery of cloud core platforms e.g. IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), Evolved Packet Core (EPC), ensuring reliability, performance and security, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing technical support to cloud-based related voice & data services. Responsible to design, build, and maintain cloud resources and components, including compute instances, storage, and networking. Responsible to design, build, and maintain the core components based on cloud-infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to infrastructure and core network applications. Implement and maintain security measures to protect cloud-based systems and data. Serve as a product SME and work independently to complete technical work in service scenarios such as project delivery, network maintenance, learning services, and service product development involving cloud core network product. Responsible in achieving delivery & service business objectives in aspects like network management baselines, efficiency, costs, quality or competitiveness. Require to work as a team with either regional/HQ or local team. Require to work under minimum supervision to complete tasks assigned. Require to be able to present technical solution professionally and have technical training for local channel partners and customers. Job Requirements 3+ years’ experience in telecom equipment vendor hands-on experience in both voice and data solution design, deployment, service migration and maintenance. Experience in swapping other vendor’s core network voice solution equipment is preferred. Excellent knowledge of Core Network system including IMS, CS, NGN, PS/EPC. Thorough knowledge of VoLTE service, VoBB service, CS/NGN service, 3/4G data service, interfaces, protocols, etc. Very good knowledge of NFV/CloudOS/VNFM/IP. Strong sense of integrity, responsibility and initiative. Effectively bilingual. Self-organized, able to prioritize and execute multiple tasks efficiently. Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to ensure effective communication with the Chinese-speaking stakeholders, including head office, business counterparts, and customers based in China.
