Popscent Technician

Join to apply for the Popscent Technician role at dsm-firmenich Job title – Popscent Technician Location – Tuas, Singapore Reporting to the department owner, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Popscent Department to ensure all products are manufactured in compliance with the highest safety and quality standards. Your Key Responsibilities Automated Process: Run the processing reactors based on standard parameters automation control and standard procedure. Locate and verify materials to match order and labels, generates product/sample labels, inspects exterior and interior of containers before filling and handling. Weigh or measures materials and mixes them in prescribed manner utilizing a variety of compounding equipment for a specified duration. Fill and pack finished product and/or intermediates, moves finished product to warehouse for storage or shipping. Draws samples for quality control approval. Material Replenishment based on SAP quantity requirement. Operate forklift and other material moving equipment as required. Execute equipment troubleshooting and repairs. Compliance with Group Quality Operational Requirements, Group SHE Requirements, Quality Essentials, and Life Saving Rules (LSR). You bring Attained minimum NITEC in Engineering or Technical equivalent. 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Prior technical experience in chemical company would be an advantage. Must be physically fit for heavy lifting of equipment around 25Kg. Effective verbal and written communication.
