They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to contribute to our systematic trading models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, statistical analysis, and preferablyfinancial markets. Key Responsibilities Data Collection and Management : Gather, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various financial sources. Ensure data integrity and accuracy for reliable analysis. Model Development : Design, implement, and validate predictive models and algorithms to optimize trading strategies. Use machine learning techniques to enhance model performance. Quantitative Analysis : Perform in-depth statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in financial markets. Translate findings into actionable insights for trading decisions. Collaboration and Communication : Work closely with portfolio managers, traders, and IT teams to integrate models into trading systems. Communicate complex concepts and results effectively to non-technical stakeholders. Research and Innovation : Stay abreast of the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and finance. Propose and experiment with innovative approaches to improve trading performance. Qualifications Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. PhD is a plus. Experience : 5+ years of experience in data science, preferably within the financial industry or a similar quantitative field. Technical Skills : Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java. Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, scikit-learn) and data visualization tools. Analytical Skills : Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work with complex datasets and derive meaningful insights. Financial Acumen : Understanding of financial instruments, markets, and trading strategiesis advantageous.
