Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop and maintain software applications for vision systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement PC-based automated visual inspection systems for semiconductor equipment.
  • Evaluate feasibility of customer vision specifications and propose solutions.
  • Integrate new vision hardware (camera, frame grabber) onto the software platform.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize inspection processing time.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external customers to meet inspection requirements.
  • Improve vision inspection algorithms to enhance capabilities and performance.
  • Collaborate with customers and sales personnel to explore new opportunities.
  • Work closely with the vision application and optics teams to achieve optimal results.

Requirements:

  • BS Science Diploma or higher in electrical and electronic, mechanical or mechatronics engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Technical troubleshooting experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a related field.
  • Relevant work experience including automation machine system troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with end customers.
  • Understanding of semi-conductor manufacturing process, vision inspection settings and machine software settings.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in software development with C#, WPF, Image Processing, Halcon.

This role requires a strong understanding of software development principles and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
