Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

The role of Senior Quality Assurance Specialist is crucial in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the development and production process. This position requires a strong background in quality assurance, with expertise in plastic material science, injection moulding, and design engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to optimize product development processes and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Evaluate product structure and design to meet safety and functional requirements throughout the development process.
  • Develop and implement quality management systems to improve supplier quality and reduce defects.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards and provide training as needed.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in quality assurance or related field, with a focus on plastic materials and injection moulding.
  • Strong understanding of design engineering principles and industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASTM, EN71).
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., APQP, PPAP, PFMEA).
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive process improvements.
