Site Overview GE Aerospace Engine Services Singapore (GEAESS) is our largest site for engine component Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO), handling more than 60% of global repair volume. Our advanced facility leads aerospace innovation across the Asia Pacific, utilizing robotics, additive manufacturing, and smart factory technologies. Role Overview As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will design, develop, substantiate, and implement repair processes; maintain shop documents; generate and update operation sheets; track yield data; conduct improvement activities; and support customer queries and quality system requirements. Design/develop/substantiate/implement new repairs. Ensure internal shop documents are current with the latest repair guidance. Generate and update operation sheets and routers. Track yield data and identify opportunities for improvement; conduct material tryouts and process reviews. Conduct savings reviews. Raise and follow through with Departure Records approval; collaborate with REDO or GEAE engineers to enhance technical issue resolution. Provide work scope for customers and draft responses to customer queries. Investigate and answer QPR/CARs. Act as subject matter expert to design and develop on‐the‐job training (OJT) for shop CRTs. Lead lean and bullet‐train activities; drive cluster initiatives. Maintain up‐to‐date technical/engineering documents and new business opportunities. Ensure compliance with manual deployment and technical operating documents for CRT use. Ensure proper technical qualifications for transitions in or out of GE Aerospace. Support business productivity and cost‐efficiency efforts. Ideal Candidate Candidate has experience as a product engineer in a shop floor manufacturing environment. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering. 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment (advantage). Preferred experience in aviation maintenance, repair, or overhaul. Preferred Qualifications Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
