ACCOUNTANT
Key Areas of Responsibility
Manage monthly and annual close processes, including recording accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the company’s accounting ledger.
Perform account analysis to ensure that entries and balances are correct.
Partner with the FP&A team.
Evaluate and present meaningful and timely business unit results to the Head of Department and management.
Regularly reconcile accounts with the general ledger.
Ensure that all entries are accurate and that transactions are reported in accordance with accounting standards and government regulations.
Prepare balance sheet and P&L schedules.
Prepare management reporting and recharges.
Prepare exhibition actuals, forecasts, and cash flow statements.
Process suppliers’ invoices and post them in the accounting system.
Handle month-end external and intercompany billing.
Manage staff claims processing.
Involve in annual and interim external and internal audits.
Perform revenue billing to clients and follow up on collections.
Work with tax agents to prepare and finalize tax returns, and address any tax queries.

Accounting Systems
Liaise with external consultants to maintain and fine-tune functions and financial reports for future projects.
Generate accounting systems reporting.
Work with consultants to develop new reports and functions as required.
Assist in any ad-hoc reporting and projects assigned by management.
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Accountancy/ACCA/CPA.
About 5 years of working experience in handling Financial GL and full sets of accounting, preferably in the entertainment/events industry.
Experience in progress billing accounting would be a plus.
Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities and assignments simultaneously.
Display a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
Strong attention to detail and a team player.
