Job Title: Technical Operations Director

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the operational and technical performance of vessels, ensuring compliance with Class, statutory regulations, and company policies.

  • The incumbent must possess strong leadership skills, guiding and developing junior staff, Masters, Chief Engineers, and officers with leadership potential onboard.
  • This position requires regular vessel inspections, including sailing visits, to assess condition and verify compliance with company standards.
  • Developing and managing budgets for designated vessels is also a key responsibility.
  • A crucial aspect of this role is coordinating and overseeing dry-docking and major repair projects for client vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of vessels.
  • Implement measures to drive sea staff compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and manage budgets for designated vessels.
