As a Senior AI Engineer Full Stack at Pinecone Agentic, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that leverage AI technologies to drive personalized and contextual automation. Your multidisciplinary expertise will be utilized across various domains including AWS architecture, backend development, database engineering, and data analytics. You will collaborate with a dynamic team in a Scrum environment to deliver secure, scalable systems that are at the forefront of AI innovation.Your primary responsibilities will include architecting and developing scalable solutions using AWS cloud services such as Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, and RDS. You will lead the backend development using Node.js, build and optimize both relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL and DynamoDB, and integrate Pinecone vector search with agentic workflows for semantic search and AI decisioning.In the realm of Agentic AI and Pinecone, you will implement agent-based workflows using orchestration tools like LangGraph and LangChain, and leverage Pinecone for retrieval-augmented generation and context enrichment. Your expertise in data engineering will be crucial as you build data pipelines, perform data analysis, and optimize data storage patterns to support business insights.Your role will also involve active participation in Scrum ceremonies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time, and contributing to technical documentation, testing, and code reviews. Proficiency in programming languages and technologies such as Node.js, Python, React, AWS services, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Pinecone will be essential to excel in this role.To be successful in this position, you should possess at least 6+ years of experience as a full stack/backend engineer with a focus on Node.js, 3+ years of experience as an AWS architect, and a deep understanding of Pinecone, vector databases, and AI agent orchestration. Strong communication skills, a solid grasp of agile methodologies, and the ability to lead discussions across teams are also key attributes we are looking for.If you have experience with embedding models, HuggingFace, or LLM fine-tuning, familiarity with frontend systems like React/Next.js, and knowledge of data privacy and compliance standards, it would be considered advantageous.
