As a Demand Planner, you will be responsible for creating accurate demand forecasts and managing inventory levels to align with business objectives. The role involves analyzing data, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and continuously improving demand planning processes. Your work will help optimize inventory and ensure that the company can meet customer demand effectively and efficiently.
What you will do
Forecasting, reporting and Analysis:
Develop and refine demand forecasts using statistical models and market insights.
Regularly review and adjust forecasts based on sales data and market trends.
Ensure holistic overview of demand planning impacts such as NPI, EOL, Promotions, Tenders, etc.
Understand New project launches and requirements for hearing aids according to product launch plan.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance teams to align demand plans with business objectives, drive the global demand planning and S&OP process, and manage risks and opportunities, while understanding country- and product-level behaviors and sales budget guidelines.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with supply chain teams, and address any supply issues to ensure optimal stock levels.
Data Analysis: Prepare and analyze reports on forecast accuracy and inventory status, providing insights to the demand planning team and key stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance demand planning accuracy and efficiency.
What you bring
Experience
3-5 years of working experience in data analytics and forecasting sales demand using Excel and statistical tools, in mid- to large-scale international organizations, able to handle complex issues and large amounts of data.
Knowledge in integrated supply chain systems, PBI, Excel, PowerPoint.
Good understanding of forecast models and methods, supply chain processes and practices.
Knowledge and expertise in business statistics preferred.
Strong in business analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Python or others. Excellent in Microsoft Excel 2010-2001.
Diploma in Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics and other related studies / Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Operations and/or Business.
APICS SC Certifications - CPIM, CSCP, Inventory Management, Strategic Planning, PBI, Data analytics.
Personal competencies
Good English communication skills both verbal and written.
Assertive communication, interpersonal and inter-cultural skills, working with global stakeholders. Leadership – able to communicate, build relations, influence and manage cross-functional teams across all levels and seniority within the organization.
Good teamwork, decision making, problem solving, data analytics, and time management skills.
