Your Mission: What you'll own As our Asia Investment Associate, you're the engine behind our deal pipeline across APAC and LATAM. Your goal is to uncover exceptional early-stage startups, evaluate them with precision, and fuel the investment decisions that power our Collective. Scout & build like a pro Hunt for brilliance: Scout early-stage startups across APAC and LATAM that align with our investment thesis. You have a nose for potential and aren\'t afraid to dig deep to find hidden gems. Become a relationship architect: Build authentic, strong connections with VCs, accelerators, incubators, and all the key players in the ecosystem. These relationships are your superpower for uncovering deal flow. Own the room: Attend events to scout startups, meet founders, and establish Epic Angels as a force in the ecosystem. Master the pipeline: Take full ownership of the Epic Angels deal flow pipeline—from sourcing to tracking to keeping things moving. Due diligence & investment analysis Evaluate with limited data: You thrive in ambiguity. Assess early-stage startups with incomplete information, using your analytical skills and intuition to separate signal from noise. Do the research: Dive into market research, competitive landscapes, and business models. You leave no stone unturned. Review the numbers: Analyze financials and projections with a critical eye, spotting opportunities and red flags. Connect with founders: Speak directly with founders to understand their vision, assess their execution capabilities, and determine if they\'re the right fit. Present like a boss: Share your analysis with the team and Collective, making compelling recommendations backed by solid insights. Create investment memos: Write clear, comprehensive investment memos that guide decision-making. What makes you Epic Self-starter with a growth mindset: You don\'t wait for instructions. You know how to sell an idea and build consensus. Based in Asia & fluent in English: You\'re located in Asia and have native or near-native English proficiency (written and verbal). The selection process Stage 1: Video Introduction Selected applicants will be invited to share a 2-minute video introducing 2 startups that fit the Epic Angels investment criteria. Show us your scouting skills and what gets you excited about early-stage investing. Stage 2: Co-Founder Discussion Those who impress with their video will be invited for a 15-minute conversation with our Epic Angels co-founders . This is your chance to connect and show us who you really are. Stage 3: Case Study Assessment Shortlisted candidates will complete a case study to demonstrate your analytical skills, investment thinking, and ability to evaluate startups.
