Senior Industrial Engineer (Capacity Planning/Layout)1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicants Responsibilities Overall capacity modelling, planning and expenditure for the filter business. Works with planning, manufacturing, process and equipment engineering to ensure demand is met. Review capacity model, understand constraints and track cycle‐to‐cycle capacity changes. Identify bottleneck processes and work out capacity improvement projects with cross‐functional teams and/or CapEx for capacity ramping/expansion for the Filter business. Review capital and cash‐flow requirements, driving activities to improve capital efficiency and reduce cost. Conduct time studies and update process cycle times. Lead and drive cross‐functional teams to continuously improve OEE, cycle time and processes. Identify process and operation inefficiencies to propose solutions for optimization and improvement. Secondary Tasks Project management using Gantt chart / Action plan to execute and track the timeline of tools ready for production. Lead, coordinate and work with cross‐functional teams such as logistics, contractors, tool suppliers, equipment engineers, process engineers, facility engineers, environment health and safety officer to install the tools as planned. Brainstorm/Support with layout engineer to optimize equipment density, production flow and expansion. Job Requirements BS in Industrial Engineering required, MS preferred. 8 years related experience in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, experience in Semiconductor Industry preferred. Thorough knowledge of Industrial Engineering concepts, practices and principles. Preferred experience with Backend Assembly, Test and Die packing. Good communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, written). Possess Project Management skills. Excellent problem‐solving, continuous improvement analytical skills (6Sigma / 5S / Lean Manufacturing). Ability to use software models to solve problems. Must be a team player, detail oriented, and work well with others and perform well under pressure. Conduct time study on site. Able to work in fast‐paced environment. Proactive and able to work independently with minimum supervision. Self‐driven and self‐motivated to get job done. Proficient Utilizing Microsoft Office tools: Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word & Visio AutoCAD Simulation Software Experience with Reporting tools Advanced Planning systems Reporting systems such as FabTime MES (Promis) basic knowledge #J-18808-Ljbffr
