You are a key member of the IT Collaboration Services (ICS) team and will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Microsoft 365 applications, services, and features to meet business requirements. In addition, you will research and work on Emerging Technologies POCs and/or pilot projects.
You must have hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365, Okta (MFA), Azure, Druva as well as have a good understanding of the general trends of the industry, and how enterprises adopt Emerging Technology Projects. You will also collaborate with many stakeholders within the PSA Group and external vendors.
Contract duration : 2 years
Your key responsibilities
User Account Management:
Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts in Office 365. Ensure proper access and permissions for employees based on their roles.
Email Management:
Manage Exchange Online services, including mail flow, mailbox migrations, and spam protection.
Configure and maintain email services, including setting up mailboxes, managing distribution lists, and troubleshooting email-related issues.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and enforce security policies, data loss prevention (DLP), and compliance measures to protect sensitive information and ensure regulatory compliance.
Perform necessary reviews in accordance with compliance policies or practices (e.g., account reviews, log reviews, etc.).
Office 365 Applications:
Administer and support various Office 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Azure Active Directory, etc.
Support audit and compliance related activities.
Perform change and release management activities according to organization practices.
Provide global support as part of the rotational duty support team.
Support other IT related activities and events when required.
Emerging Technologies:
Research and work on Emerging Technologies Proof of Concepts (POCs) and/or pilot projects (e.g., AI/ML, Cloud, Blockchain, Digital Twins, etc.).
Track the progress of all these subsidiaries with Emerging Technologies POCs and/or projects.
Troubleshooting:
Identify and resolve technical issues related to Office 365 services promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
Coordinate/Perform Level 1, 2, and 3 support and service provisioning requests.
Coordinate with vendors, internal stakeholders, and/or customers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
Backup and Recovery:
Ensure error-free application/service backups and perform restoration tests or disaster recovery exercises to safeguard critical data in Office 365 when required.
Updates and Patch Management:
Keep the Office 365 environment up to date by applying patches, updates, and new features in a controlled manner in accordance with compliance policies.
Propose and implement remediation solutions to address vulnerabilities.
Provide after-hours support for Office 365 related emergencies and occasional weekend maintenance as part of the rotational duty support team.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and policies related to Office 365 administration according to organizational policies and practices.
Training and User Support:
Provide training and support to end-users, helping them maximize their productivity within the Office 365 ecosystem.
Monitoring and Performance Optimisation:
Monitor the performance of Office 365 services and optimize configurations to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization.
Proactively manage servers/services to maintain 24x7x365 uptime.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to implement and integrate Office 365 solutions that align with the organisation's goals.
Develop and implement project plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
License Management:
Manage Office 365 licenses and subscriptions.
Your personal qualities
A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the following areas: Microsoft Office 365 (including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online and Microsoft Azure Active Directory), Azure AD Connect, Microsoft Azure Cloud, and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS) Services and Operations.
A good understanding of Microsoft Office 365, Okta (MFA), Azure Active Directory Connect synchronization services (Azure AD Connect sync), and Druva.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
A team player with effective interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of users, both verbally and in writing.
Able to present well in meetings and presentations.
Positive, self-motivated, resourceful individual who can complete tasks independently.
Working experience in Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013/2016, and Windows Clustering/Hypervisor will be advantageous.
Flexible and able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
Should possess Professional Certifications in IT (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate).
Should possess a good understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
Should be proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration.
Should possess a good understanding of Emerging Technologies.
Willing to explore and learn new methods of doing things.
Willing to take short overseas trips to support our overseas entities in project implementations/rollouts.
