What the role is: The officer is primarily responsible for shortlisting, interviewing, appointing, and emplacing SCDF officers. In addition, the officer will develop and manage SCDF’s recruitment schemes to expand its hireable talent pool. This role also encompasses the officer developing and managing SCDF’s Employee Referral Scheme (ERS), and engaging SCDF in-service personnel to join the organisation. What you will be working on: To oversee the full recruitment to confirmation life cycle for SCDF Fire & Rescue Service (FRS), Emergency Medical Service officers (EMS), and/or Civilian Officers. To develop and manage SCDF’s recruitment schemes. To develop and manage SCDF’s Employee Referral Scheme (ERS). To update and monitor recruitment statistics for proper analysis and planning of recruitment activities. What we are looking for: A bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as human resources management or business management. Candidates with a minimum of 2 proven years of experience in a human resource or business-related role will be preferred. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to be mobile, network, articulate, and market SCDF’s career information and initiatives to various audiences. Proficiency in data analysis through the use of Microsoft Office and other software. Ability to handle multiple projects and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. About MHA - Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) is a uniformed organisation under the purview of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
