Occupational Therapist Role

About the Position:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to conduct assessments and provide interventions for patients referred for occupational therapy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and manage their care independently
  • Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with clinical standards
  • Ensure timely reviews of patients to monitor progress
  • Accurately document patient outcomes and progress
  • Maintain professional competence and seek support when necessary

Secondary Duties:

  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals in a multi-disciplinary team setting
  • Participate in managing clinical projects and initiatives
  • Support the delivery of clinical education to students
  • Contribute to departmental training programs to enhance skills

Requirements:

  • Recognized Diploma / Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Interest in working with diverse patient populations, particularly in Geriatrics, Neurology, Orthopedics, or Palliative Care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team and independently
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office software
