Job Title: Janitor

Position Overview:

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and hygienic environment by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all floor areas.
  • Clean staircases, corridors, and common areas to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for employees and visitors.
  • Properly dispose of waste by emptying rubbish bins and recycling whenever possible.
  • Ensure toilets are always clean and well-stocked with toiletries.
  • Dust and polish furniture, windows, doors, and other surfaces to maintain a professional appearance.
  • Perform high-level dusting and cleaning of walls, ceilings, and glass surfaces.
  • Keep lifts, letterboxes, gym, and shared areas spotless and organized.
  • Floater - Operate cleaning machines such as vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, or water jets as needed.
  • Floater - Participate in periodic deep cleaning tasks like scrubbing, buffing, and polishing floors when instructed.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Report any defects or maintenance issues to the supervisor promptly.
  • Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow recommended procedures.
  • Adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines and dress accordingly.
  • Be prepared to take on additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
