Job Responsibilities Grooming and styling pets according to pet owners' instructions or standard grooming styles. Identifying health issues in pets, such as ear infections, skin conditions, or tooth decay, and informing pet owners of these observations. Clean and freshen pet hair by washing, shampooing, and conditioning it Shave, trim, and style pet hair according to the owner's preferences Maintain overall pet hygiene by clipping nails, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears Ensuring that all pets are safe during the grooming process. Keep a clean work station by sanitising and sweeping before the arrival of each new client and at the end of each workday Advise owners on at-home care tips and best practices for their pets Help out with retail when there are no grooming appointments Work 6 days a week (compulsory for weekends and public holidays)Requirements Mininum 1 year of pet grooming experience Graduated from local grooming school or obtained professional certification Comfortable working with animals, including anxious, difficult and temperamental ones Ability to stand for at least two hours and ability to lift animals that weigh over 20 kg Possess positive attitude, Perseverance, Adaptability, Problem-Solving, Work Ethic and Honesty Able to treat all pets with compassion Good verbal communication skills Good attention to detail Comfort working with various breeds of dogs, would be good if able to work with cats or others #J-18808-Ljbffr
