Role Description We're looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to build our iOS and Android applications from the ground up. You'll create high-performance mobile experiences that handle real-time AI streaming, file uploads, and collaborative analytics workflows. This is a full-time remote position where you'll have significant ownership over mobile architecture and user experience. What You'll Build iOS and Android applications using React Native Real-time streaming interfaces using Server-Sent Events (SSE) for AI-powered analytics Responsive mobile UI for data visualization and collaborative workspaces Offline-first architecture with smart caching and sync strategies Push notifications and real-time collaboration features Smooth animations and native-feeling interactions What You'll Do Develop and maintain mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript Integrate Server-Sent Events (SSE) for real-time AI streaming on mobile Optimize mobile performance: app size, memory usage, battery efficiency, startup time Build platform-specific features using native modules when needed (Swift/Kotlin)Collaborate with backend engineers to design mobile-optimized API patterns Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive testing and type safety Own the mobile release process: TestFlight, Play Store, CI/CD pipelines Ship features independently with minimal oversight Requirements Strong experience with React Native and cross-platform mobile development Proven experience with real-time streaming on mobile (SSE, WebSockets, or similar)Deep understanding of mobile performance optimization - memory management, battery efficiency, app size Experience with native modules - ability to write Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android) when needed Familiarity with mobile CI/CD - Fastlane, App Store Connect, Google Play Console Strong communication skills and ability to work independently Track record of shipping production mobile applications Nice-to-Have Experience with AI/LLM applications on mobile Experience building offline-first mobile apps with sync strategies Prior work with mobile data visualization or large file handling Experience with push notifications and real-time collaboration features Familiarity with React Native performance tools (Flipper, Reactotron, Hermes)Experience with mobile security best practices (secure storage, certificate pinning, biometric auth)Background in native iOS or Android development before React Native Experience with Expo or similar frameworks Why Join Zark Lab?Build a mobile application from scratch with full architectural ownership Work on a cutting-edge AI analytics platform bringing desktop power to mobile Collaborate with a high-caliber team of former founders and engineers from leading tech companies Competitive salary and equity Fully remote, flexible work environment Modern tech stack with freedom to influence architecture decisions Apply Now If you're excited about building high-performance mobile applications that make data analysis accessible anywhere, we'd love to hear from you.
