Responsibilities:
Lead the conceptualization and development of interior design concepts based on client requirements, project objectives, and industry best practices.
Prepare and present design proposals including space planning, mood boards, sketches, 2D/3D renderings, and material selection for client review and approval.
Revise drawings as necessary or as directed by the client.
Provide guidance and support to clients in the selection of fixtures, finishes, and furnishings.
Review and approve shop drawings, material samples, and finishes to ensure they align with the approved design concept.
Conduct site surveys and analyze existing spaces to gather essential information for design development.
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate design implementation and resolve any design issues during construction.
Provide leadership to resolve all technical/operational issues and design coordination on-site.
Provide adequate input/comment in terms of practicality of the design, timeline, milestone achievement, and key lessons learned from experience.
Stay updated on current design trends and technologies to incorporate innovative ideas into projects.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Interior Design or a related field.
Proven working experience as a Senior Designer/Interior Designer, preferably in a similar industry or firm for about 5-8 years.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3DMax, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office.
Strong knowledge of design principles and space planning.
Excellent creativity and artistic skills with attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and project stakeholders.
A portfolio showcasing previous interior design projects is required.
