Hotel Maintenance Technician

Are you an enthusiastic and skilled professional seeking a new challenge in the hotel industry? We are looking for a highly motivated Maintenance Technician to join our Engineering team.

Job Description:

The role of a Maintenance Technician involves performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities. You will be responsible for conducting preventative and curative maintenance, ordering and monitoring fuels and lubricants, maintaining clean and tidy plant rooms, and participating in staff training sessions.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of our equipment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Order and monitor fuels and lubricants to ensure optimal performance.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy plant room to prevent accidents and maintain efficiency.
  • Participate in staff training sessions to enhance colleague knowledge and skills.
  • Record daily service work and maintain individual replacement costs along with time/task labor hours cost.
  • Repair and maintain guest room facilities, light facilities, furniture, and equipment.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need a solid foundation in electrical or mechanical engineering, preferably with NTC or NITEC certification. Additionally, you should possess experience in painting and maintenance work, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. A positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to work rotating shifts, on weekends, and public holidays are also essential.
