Working hours: Monday - Saturday Working Location: Jurong Port Job Description Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and standards in accordance with company strategy, project requirements, and statutory regulations. Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Lead toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and training sessions to promote a strong safety culture among all site personnel. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective and preventive measures. Monitor and ensure the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safe work practices across all construction activities. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to address safety issues and provide technical safety solutions. Maintain safety documentation, permits, and records required by project and legal authorities. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and contribute to continuous improvement in safety management practices. Support emergency preparedness planning and execution, including drills and emergency response coordination. Assist Project Manager/Project Director with safety management tasks as required. Job Requirements Minimum 14 years of relevant experience in safety management within the construction industry. Diploma in Hydraulic and Hydro-Power Engineering. Proven experience working with a main contractor (main-con) is a must. In-depth knowledge of local and China safety regulations, codes, and construction site practices. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels. Proficient in safety management systems, reporting tools, and incident investigation techniques.Excellent problem‐solving and decision‐making abilities, particularly in high‐pressure or emergency situations.
