Are you a detail-oriented professional with a strong grasp of contract management in the commodities trading space? We’re seeking a skilled
Contracts Analyst
to join a dynamic team in the Oil & Gas sector. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with traders, legal counsel, and risk teams to shape and optimize contractual agreements that drive business success. Location: Singapore, Singapore.
Responsibilities
Contract Review & Analysis
Evaluate and interpret contractual agreements, identifying key terms, risks, and obligations.
Analyze market trends and industry benchmarks to support negotiations.
Contract Drafting & Negotiation
Draft, review, and revise contracts including purchase agreements, supply contracts, and derivatives.
Negotiate with counterparties to secure favorable terms.
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure contracts comply with legal and regulatory standards.
Identify and mitigate contractual risks.
Stakeholder Communication
Collaborate with internal teams to align contract terms with business goals.
Act as a liaison with external parties during negotiations and execution.
Recordkeeping & Documentation
Maintain organized contract files for reference and audits.
Prepare reports and summaries for management and compliance.
Process Improvement
Monitor industry developments and propose enhancements to contract lifecycle management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or Accounting.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the commodities sector.
Strong understanding of commodities markets and trading strategies.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
Effective communicator with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
