Legal Consultant / Legal Counsel – Commodities & Trading Join to apply for the Legal Consultant/Legal Counsel – Commodities & Trading role at Lawyers On Demand . Who are we looking for?Recently, there has been an increase in demand for lawyers with commodities and trading experience, and we are looking for legally trained and qualified individuals with the following attributes: 5 years' PQE and above Experience with Commodity Trading and Risk Management solutions across the Commercial Function An understanding of Metals, Bulk Commodities (IO/Coal), Oil and Gas Experience in providing support on general legal and risk aspects of the business, covering both financial and physical commodities. Experience in reviewing, drafting and negotiating a variety of legal documents – including trade finance transactions and derivatives documentation. Experience managing and negotiating traded markets documentation (primarily derivatives master agreements, e.g. ISDA, CSAs, regulatory compliant CSAs, and securities financing master agreements (GMRAs and GMSLAs)). Commercially minded – Experience working in Commercial functions and understanding commercial processes and associated data flows and impacts.
