Institutions in the NUHS group include four hospitals – National University Hospital, Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, Alexandra Hospital and Jurong Community Hospital; three National Specialty Centres – National University Cancer Institute, Singapore, National University Heart Centre, Singapore and National University Centre for Oral Health, Singapore; a polyclinic group – the National University Polyclinics; one medical centre – Jurong Medical Centre; and three academic health sciences institutions – National University of Singapore (NUS) Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine (including the Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies), NUS Faculty of Dentistry and NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health. The Emergency Medicine Department, National University Hospital, is seeking candidates who are highly motivated and willing to join us for a challenging and fulfilling appointment as Resident Physician. Job Descriptions: As a Resident Physician, you will be responsible for overall supervision and day-to-day running of the wards, including patient care, exercising good diagnostic and clinical management acumen. In addition, you will supervise and teach House Officers and Medical officer, and attend and participate in all departmental ward rounds including the combined Hospital teaching seminars, clinical-pathological case conferences, etc. Job Requirements: • Possess a basic medical degree and a postgraduate qualification registrable with the Singapore Medical Council • Possess a 3 year post housemanship clinical experience • Be in active clinical practice • Must be registered with the Singapore Medical Council • Able to demonstrate good diagnostic and clinical management acumen • Able to demonstrate teamwork, respect, integrity, compassion, excellence and patient centeredness in his/ her work Tell employers what skills you have DentistryHealthcaresystemEmergency Medicinehealth sciences institutionPublic health sciencehealthcare sectorHealth ServicesAbility to work creativelyOral health
