Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and meticulous Merchandising & Product Strategist to join our client's expanding team. This role is well suited for someone with a driven, data-oriented mindset looking for an opportunity to develop product growth strategies through data analysis and conducting research on the hottest market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse past business performance and conduct market research and analysis to identify trends across seasonal and general customer preferences, leveraging insights to guide strategic product decisions for culinary and bar offerings, including across flavours, packaging and product innovation
Lead sourcing and development of house brand merchandise and lifestyle/retail items
Helm seasonal and monthly product campaign planning and branding, including curation of seasonal hampers and bundles
Maintain competitor benchmarking and conduct customer profiling to aid in product planning
Lead costing reviews, competitor pricing analysis and financial modelling across the brand across different product lines
Requirements:
Proven experience of 3-5 years in product strategy, category management or merchandising. F&B/ lifestyle/ retail and consumer goods background preferred
Exceptional analytical skills and business acumen to translate numbers into growth plans
Strong costing and pricing analysis skills to inform product positioning
Resourceful and creative in producing strategies which aligns with business objectives and strengthens the brand’s image
Highly motivated and adaptable with the ability to work independently or in a cross-functional team
