Job Summary
Facilitate learning and development training and initiatives that enable employees at all levels to develop relevant competencies that allow them to perform their roles to the standards required at BachaCoffee. To instill a sense of pride and passion that enables each employee to become a brand ambassador for BachaCoffee. Also, to act as a BachaCoffee ambassador with corporate and private customers at training, openings, and other public events such as product launches.
Primary Relationships
The position reports to the Chief Commercial Officer. Within the organization, this position has primary relationships with the Human Resources, Operations, Corporate Sales and Corporate Communications departments in Singapore. It has secondary relationships with General Managers, Trainers, Operations Managers and HR teams at BachaCoffee subsidiaries and franchise offices outside of Singapore. Outside the organization, the position coordinates primarily with vendors and service providers (corporate customers, training consultants, production houses, etc.).
Job Description
Follow instructions and guidance from the Chief Commercial Officer with regard to all learning and development or training issues at BachaCoffee
Demonstrate ability to facilitate all relevant workshops and initiatives included in the BachaCoffee learning and development curriculum to a professional standard as outlined in the relevant BachaCoffee facilitator guides
Proactively gather feedback from the Chief Commercial Officer regarding your ability to facilitate the BachaCoffee standards
Ensure that training offered to Corporate Sales partners is facilitated to the same standard as those offered at the Coffee Institute
Able to multitask, prioritize and execute all learning and development duties in Singapore (Coffee Institute & Corporate Partners)
Ensure that all competencies developed during BachaCoffee trainings sessions (brand experience / selling / serving / managing / supervising / barman experience, etc.) are checked using the correct evaluation tool
Monitor the standards of training that is facilitated or delivered in all areas of operations – redirect or coach any individual who does not maintain the BachaCoffee facilitating standards
Ask for assistance with any areas of your role where you are not confident and/or do not have the required level of competence to complete the tasks successfully
Suggest new topics or ideas for training that will support the operation and ensure that the learning and development opportunities offered will support employees at all stages of their journey
Maintain active and high-level communication with all employees in the business – regularly visit the employees in their workspace to ensure they feel supported and listened to – share regular feedback with the Chief Commercial Officer
Assist the Chief Commercial Officer in establishing and maintaining an efficient and effective system that records all learning and development activities
Ensure that individual feedback is recorded for all learning and development initiatives that happen at BachaCoffee
Assess learning needs and adapt the facilitation approach to reflect desired learning outcomes and learner needs
Responsible for knowledge and skills
