Job Description
Join A*STAR - Agency for Science, Technology and Research as a Scientist (Chemical Engineering and Material Science/Clean and Wet Etch) (APM), IME.
Responsibilities
Perform professional process engineering research, development, and evaluation in support of IME's programs, including semiconductor wet cleaning and wet etch process.
Conceive and plan projects involving new materials, concepts, and approaches in process development.
Evaluate test data to determine process specifications and champion engineering experiments for process characterization.
Setup and collect experimental data, generate reports, and design DOE evaluations to characterize process windows.
Work closely with senior staff and process integrators to understand technology roadmaps and business issues.
Lead small projects, act as a resource for colleagues, and accelerate parallel process development capability.
Build a sustainable talent pipeline across research and engineering levels.
Requirements
PhD in chemistry or chemical engineering with 3+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor process engineering, or Master's degree with 5+ years of experience.
Prior experience in wet etch/wet clean processes is preferred.
A safety mindset, hands-on experience in designing experiments, and good interpersonal and communication skills are required.
