Electrical Engineering Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as an Electrical Engineering Specialist. We are looking for an experienced professional to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive electrical engineering projects from concept to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex technical problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions that meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Lead the evaluation of component discontinuation (EOL) and second-source alternatives, ensuring alignment with product requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain accurate documentation in the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, including Bill of Materials (BOM), drawings, specifications, manuals, service instructions, and release notes.
  • Assess and implement engineering change requests, improvement proposals, and customer-specific requests, considering feasibility, risks, and pros and cons.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines, including mechanical, software, and process engineers, to achieve project objectives and ensure compliance with international machine product standards.
  • Provide expert engineering support for research and development (R&D) and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a key contact for global production sites and technical support teams, addressing electrical-related matters and offering guidance on standard compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in automation and equipment industries, or equivalent expertise.
  • Proven track record of designing products in accordance with standards such as UL, CE, ROHS, EMI, and EMC.
  • Familiarity with debugging and testing equipment, including oscilloscopes, function generators, spectrum analyzers, and network analyzers.
  • Competency in PCB layout design using Cadence, a plus.
