Singapore Space Executive Full time

Description We’re partnering with a technology solutions provider to hire a Data Scientist for a long-term government project in Singapore. This role sits at the intersection of data science, analytics, and data infrastructure. Key Responsibilities - Data Analysis & Insights- Perform statistical analysis and predictive modelling using AWS Redshift datasets - Develop machine learning models and generate actionable insights from large datasets - Conduct data validation and quality assessments to ensure accuracy and reliability - Dashboard & Visualization- Design and maintain interactive dashboards in AWS QuickSight - Create data visualizations to support business decision-making and trend analysis - Optimize dashboards for performance, usability, and data accuracy - Monitor and troubleshoot AWS Glue jobs and data ingestion pipelines - Support CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred) for data workflows and deployment - Work with AWS Lambda and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks for data infrastructure automation - Data Operations & Governance- Proactively monitor pipelines for data quality issues and anomalies - Collaborate with technical teams to define data requirements and governance standards - Assist in validating and testing data models for accuracy and performance - Documentation & Reporting- Document analytical methodologies, findings, and best practices - Prepare regular reports on insights and model performance - Maintain documentation and task tracking on Confluence and Jira Skills & Experience - Proven experience in data science, statistics, or machine learning - Strong hands-on skills in Python, R, and SQL - Solid exposure to AWS data services – Redshift, QuickSight, S3, Glue, Lambda - Experience with data pipeline development and troubleshooting - Familiarity with CI/CD (GitLab) and IaC concepts - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Experience working in a structured or government project environment will be an advantage Seniorities & Employment - Seniority level: Mid-Senior level - Employment type: Full-time - Job function: Information Technology - Industries: IT Services and IT Consulting Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Space Executive by 2x Get notified about new Data Scientist jobs in Singapore, Singapore.
