Job Description:
In this role, you will join a team of six members from Sopra Steria supporting a government project. The scope includes:
Security Risk Assessment
Review of Security Policies, Standards, Guidelines, and Procedures
Security Design
Application Security
Vulnerability Assessment
System Security Acceptance Testing
You will be an expert in Cloud Security.
Responsibilities:
Act as a subject matter expert on cloud and cybersecurity risks.
Provide expertise in cloud security, serving as a trusted technical advisor to address security and compliance challenges.
Support cloud transformation initiatives by helping to develop secure and compliant cloud solutions, leveraging standards and frameworks such as CSA CSM, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS, and regulatory guidelines.
Advise on designing effective cloud security capabilities across areas like identity and access management, incident response, cryptographic key management, backup and recovery, and third-party risk management.
Perform risk assessments for cloud environments and services.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into cloud applications and services.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Cloud Security, with AWS experience highly advantageous.
Strong understanding of security frameworks.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Ability to work effectively with international teams in a professional manner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly.
Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security – Specialty (SCS-C01), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), or CISSP are a plus.
