Overview As a Trainee at the Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), you will be involved in the data engine development for Embodied Artificial Intelligence. Work Focus Develop data collection system for embodied intelligence robot using tele-operation of physical robot with various sensors (e.g. data glove and VR glass) and with the simulation engine. Requirements Good software development skills in C/C++, Python BEng/M.Sc. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Science/Engineering, Machine Learning, or related fields Experience of doing hands-on project in robotic and/or simulation system is useful Knowledge of ROS (Robot Operating System), Linux and dynamic simulations engines (e.g. NVIDIA ISAAC Sim) will be beneficial Good communication skills, team player, passionate in robotics, and resourceful Key Competencies Programming capability in C++, Python and Robot Operating System (ROS)2Operational capability of industry-scale robots, including humanoids, both for data collection, validation and testing Robotic sensors, including camera, microphone, lidar or depth camera, IMU, encoders, force/torque and tactile sensors Embodied AI Data management About Agency for Science, Technology and Research MISSION We advance science and develop innovative technology to further economic growth and improve lives.
