Math Teacher Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate math teacher to join our team at Formative Minds Private Limited. As a key member of our educational institution, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and helping them achieve academic success.

The ideal candidate should have excellent teaching skills, be able to communicate effectively with students and parents, and possess a strong passion for mathematics education.

About the Job:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans for primary level mathematics subjects, aligning with MOE syllabus standards.
  • Conduct classes, provide individualized attention, and support students in achieving their academic goals.
  • Monitor student progress, identify areas of improvement, and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain open communication with parents through regular updates on student performance and progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials, assess student work, and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and conducive learning environment that fosters students' social, emotional, and academic growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree from a local university (NUS, NTU, SMU, SUTD) preferred.
  • At least 2 years of teaching/tutoring experience, preferably in mathematics subjects.
  • Familiarity with the local Singapore school curriculum and MOE syllabus requirements.
  • Passion for teaching, nurturing young minds, and staying updated on best practices in mathematics education.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to work independently, and strong organizational abilities.
