Roles & Responsibilities

Socio-Economic Policy (Principle/ Executive)

This role sits within the Policy Division, which advises senior leadership on labour-related policies.

As a Policy Officer, you will:

  • Monitor economic, labour market, and social policy developments, and analyse implications for workers.
  • Formulate, review, and refine policy positions to influence government policymaking from the labour perspective.
  • Conduct data analysis, prepare reports, and translate insights from ground feedback and third-party sources into actionable recommendations.
  • Partner with government agencies to design and adapt worker support schemes, ensuring alignment with worker needs
  • Provide secretariat and staff support to workgroups, inter-agency taskforces, and consultations to advance policy objectives.

Requirements

  • Degree in Economics, Political Science, Public Policy, Law or Social Sciences
  • Keen interest in policy review, analysis, and labour market issues.
  • Relevant work experience is preferred; however, entry-level candidates with strong interest are welcome to apply.
