Responsibilities
Demonstrate the understanding of microbiology and/or chemical laboratory requirements
Conduct inspection from raw materials to finished product
Manage team of QC assistants to ensure inspection done in an objective and constructive method
Compile and analyse data from inspection for continuous improvement
Laison with different stakeholder to ensure objectives of food safety and quality are achieved
Establish Procedures related to QC and Laboratory whenever required to support the objectives
Provide training to crew members and visitors related to Food Safety and Hygiene
Maintain all the QC reports and ensure its accuracy of reporting
Any adhoc duties as assigned by the manager
Requirements
At least Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Chemical, Biotechnology, Microbiology or related field
Experience in Catering industry is preferred
Knowledge in HACCP, ISO 22000, AIB is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and detail-oriented person
Willing to work on shift
