System Developer Role

As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining software applications on the mainframe platform.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop program specifications and documentation to meet functional and technical requirements.
  • Perform unit and system integration testing to ensure seamless application execution.
  • Support user acceptance testing to guarantee client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve application and system issues.
  • Develop improvements to existing software applications.
  • Communicate effectively with users to understand business needs and analyze impact on the application.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Technical Skills & Experience:
  • A minimum of 8 years of mainframe development experience, specifically in banking systems.
  • At least 5 years of experience working with Cardlink system.
  • Expertise in COBOL, CICS and EZT programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of the system development life cycle.
  • Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
