A*STAR HR aspires to provide valued HR services to attract, develop, motivate and retain the best talent to help A*STAR achieve its mission.The HR Division comprises of the Recruitment, Planning & Policy, Analytics & Transformation, HR Operations, Talent Management and HR Partners departments.The HR Planning and Policy department drives the strategic planning of manpower and talent needs in A*STAR and oversees the development of HR policies to ensure market relevance and competitiveness.As Deputy Director, you will have the opportunity to be involved in the following key areas of work:Drive the formulation and development of HR strategies, policies and governance frameworks to meet organisational needs, keep pace with the market and ensure alignment with national directives.Oversee the implementation of policies and frameworks and ensure effective communication of changes to policies.Partner business units to understand business and workforce requirements and develop workforce plans to meet these demands, in line with A*STAR’s manpower strategy.Lead the team to identify gaps, highlight key trends and advise senior management and stakeholders on resource planning options; plan and monitor manpower movements within the organisation.Guide the team in co-creating solutions with stakeholders to resolve issues and challenges in manpower planning.Job RequirementsAt least 8 years of relevant experience in HR, preferable with strategic workforce planning and policy experience.Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills, good quantitative skills with fundamental understanding of analyticsExcellent communication (written and verbal) skills with the ability to translate concepts into implementation plansResourceful and motivatedAble to work independently and in a team to deliver results under tight timelinesPro-active, attentive to details and results-oriented#J-18808-Ljbffr
