Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a skilled Electrical Automation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design and automation systems, including control panels, wiring layouts, PLCs, and HMIs.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical control systems for automated machinery, as well as creating and implementing logic for PLCs, motion control systems, and safety-related functions.
  • In addition, the specialist will generate technical documentation such as wiring diagrams, schematics, and component lists using electrical CAD tools, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration.
  • The role requires hands-on support in building prototypes, performing lab evaluations, and troubleshooting during on-site commissioning.
  • Furthermore, the specialist will standardize electrical design processes and improve documentation quality by applying industry best practices and contributing to team knowledge sharing.
  • A key responsibility will be ensuring all tasks are completed within given timeframes, while maintaining a commitment to responsibility and professionalism.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Diploma, ITE Nitec or Higher Nitec in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronics Engineering / Computer science or relevant technical discipline is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in electrical design and integration for automation machinery, including control panel design, wiring, and PLC-based systems is essential.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, but must be willing to learn.
  • Background in automation is preferred.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming and E-CAD software is necessary.
  • The ability to read and create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams is crucial.
  • Knowledge of control systems, motion control, sensors, and actuators is vital.
  • Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and system integration is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
