About the Role Our client are seeking an experienced engineer to drive Silicon Photonics (SiPh) technology development, including Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs) for pluggable modules, Co-Packaged Optics (CPO), and photonic interposer solutions. This role will work closely with internal R&D, module teams, customers, and external OSAT partners to develop and qualify new processes and devices. Responsibilities Develop and integrate 300mm Si-Photonics (SiPh) processes. Collaborate with internal R&D and module teams for device/process development. Engage with customers to align on device/process requirements and specifications. Work with customers and external OSAT partners on product characterization and PIC/EIC co-packaging. Support process development, design verification, and qualification activities. Apply problem-solving tools, such as DOE, FMEA, and control plans, to improve process and device performance. Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical, Physics, Materials Engineering, or related fields. Experience with SiPh R&D, process integration, or related roles in a foundry or high-volume manufacturing environment. Minimum 3 years experience in SiPh technology, optical device design & characterization, or photonic IC packaging. Experience in foundry R&D, process integration, or module/process engineering. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, familiar with DOE, FMEA, SPC, and control plan methodologies. Excellent communication skills, self‐motivated, and eager to learn.
