As part of the Real Estate Asset and Structured Finance Team, you will work in a dynamic, newly established team environment alongside professional specialists. This role offers exposure to various markets and asset types, with opportunities to excel in structuring. You will report to the Managing Director, Real Estate Asset and Structured Finance, collaborating closely with experienced industry professionals and working independently on diverse asset classes.
Responsibilities
Responsible for end-to-end deal execution: origination, structuring, credit execution, and ongoing management of securitization facilities.
Analyze, structure, and perform due diligence on transactions of varying complexity.
Manage the portfolio of existing securitization facilities across Asia Pacific, including periodic reviews, client requests, refinancing, and extensions.
Maintain and develop client relationships, contributing to cross-selling activities.
Originate transactions by identifying clients, pitching, and responding to RFPs.
Develop and present credit recommendations, liaise with legal counsel on documentation.
Analyze securitization transactions, utilizing complex spreadsheet and cash flow models.
Prepare reports for senior management, including metrics, risk limits, and budget tracking.
Enhance Mizuho's ESG brand, aiming to become a top ESG house in the region related to RASF.
Requirements
7-15 years of securitization experience in banking or rating agencies, capable of working independently.
Strong credit, structuring, and execution skills.
Extensive exposure to Securitization products such as ABS, CMBS, Trade Finance securitization, Data Centre securitization.
Self-motivated, results-oriented team player with strong learning abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of regulatory capital modeling.
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, global, regulated environment.
CFA qualification preferred.
