Legal Counsel - Enterprise Business - SEA 2 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicants Responsibilities About Team The legal team is growing together with our company and is committed to provide top-end in-house legal services to our internal clients. We are looking for a competent candidate to join us to work closely with internal stakeholders to provide pragmatic and strategic advice on innovative enterprise and consumer product offerings and services in the region. This position provides candidates with a unique opportunity to work on cutting‑edge issues in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment. Candidates must be highly collaborative, self‑motivated, adept at strategic thinking, and intellectually curious. Provide legal and commercial support for enterprise and emerging products, including AI, Cloud, and other technology‑driven offerings in SEA, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan, which are innovative and rapidly evolving. Partner with business teams on drafting and reviewing contracts, supporting negotiations, and guiding deal closings with enterprise clients. Actively collaborate with a wide variety of internal stakeholders, including product, engineering, compliance, marketing, business development and risk on a range of issues related to product development and commercialization of our products & services. Lead efforts to develop global strategies, standards, and policies for minor safety, consumer protection, platform liability and other efforts for our enterprise and consumer products. Monitor regulatory and industry trends across social media legislation, consumer protection, platform liability, cybersecurity, generative AI, data protection and minor safety to determine key issues for the company to address. Reduce contracting friction and develop self‑serve tools for business teams backed by legal training. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Qualified to practice law in Singapore or any other common law jurisdiction. Experience in advising on laws related to privacy, consumer protection, minor safety, platform liability and other relevant regulatory requirements, ideally across different markets. Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts. Business fluency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written), as the role is required to read and draft documents in Mandarin and work significantly with teams based in China. Preferred Qualifications: In‑house experience in an international organization. Experience with analyzing products to determine their compliance with applicable laws. Strong collaboration, documentation, presentation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently on many different projects at once in a fast‑paced environment. Strong sense of problem solving and proactive work ethic. Determination to face tough challenges in a fast‑paced environment while keeping a sense of humor.
