Operations Director - Shopping Mall Management

We are seeking a seasoned operations professional to oversee the day-to-day management of our shopping mall in Singapore. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring functionality, safety, and security across all areas of the mall.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Systems Oversight : Conduct regular inspections of mechanical and electrical systems to ensure they meet regulatory standards and performance benchmarks. Oversee appointed service vendors to maintain consistent quality.
  • Safety and Security Coordination : Support the development and implementation of emergency response plans and safety audits. Coordinate maintenance for security systems, fire protection equipment, and car park infrastructure.
  • Maintenance Supervision : Supervise a team of maintenance technicians in executing both preventive and corrective maintenance works, particularly in common areas and essential facilities.
  • Daily Operations Management : Oversee daily operations carried out by the security team, including monitoring of security and carpark activities. Review and manage duty rosters.
  • Supply Chain Management : Manage the requisition of essential M&E supplies and equipment. Respond to and resolve M&E-related feedback or complaints.
  • Asset Sourcing and Maintenance : Source and maintain safety and security-related assets. Investigate and follow up on incidents concerning building safety and emergency systems.
  • Contract Administration : Support the procurement process for maintenance and safety-related contracts, including preparation of tender documents, evaluations, and ongoing contract administration.
  • Asset Enhancement Planning : Assist with implementation and coordination of asset enhancement or upgrading works, as required.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities/Building Management, or a related field.
  • Experience : Preferred two years' experience in a facilities or property management role, preferably within a shopping mall or large commercial building environment. For fresh graduates, the role is also open to recently graduated students who have interned at REITs or Managed Agents.
