What the role is: Assistant Manager (Signage Designer), Architecture What you will be working on: Assistant Manager (Signage Designer), Architecture As an Assistant Manager (Signage Designer), you will play a key role in shaping the commuter experience within transit environments across the island. Working collaboratively with station design teams, you will contribute to the design and implementation of effective signage systems that enhance wayfinding and accessibility in public transportation facilities. Your role will involve developing a comprehensive understanding of wayfinding principles and the strategic placement of signage. You will be responsible for the conceptualization and design of signage elements, benchmarking best practices from international transport systems, and preparing and delivering design presentations. Additionally, you will oversee the end-to-end coordination of signage production, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards. This position also requires close collaboration with internal departments, external stakeholders, vendors, and contractors to ensure the seamless delivery of signage across all transit projects. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop signage for transit facilities, aligned with user experience and wayfinding strategies Conduct research and benchmarking of global transport signage systems Prepare and present design proposals to internal and external stakeholders Manage the production process and ensure timely delivery of signage solutionsCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and contractors to support project implementation What we are looking for: Knowledge in Graphic Design, Architecture, or a related field Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office Strong project management and organizational abilities, with keen attention to detail Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, BIM, and SketchUp is advantageous Prior experience in design and project coordination is preferred About Land Transport Authority The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is a statutory board under Ministry of Transport that spearheads land transport developments in Singapore.
