Who are we looking for?We are seeking experienced lawyers with strong general corporate and commercial experience to support our clients across a range of sectors, including technology, data privacy, banking and finance, oil and gas, shipping, and fintech. Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supplier, customer, service, distribution, and licensing contracts. Advise on general corporate and commercial matters, including company law, compliance, and governance issues. Provide legal support on data protection and privacy matters, including compliance with PDPA/GDPR requirements and reviewing data-sharing agreements. Support technology transactions, including SaaS, cloud, and software licensing arrangements. Assist with banking, finance, and fintech-related contracts and regulatory considerations. Advise on oil and gas, energy, or shipping-related contracts (e.g., charterparties, offtake, JV, and service agreements) as applicable. Work collaboratively with internal business teams and external counsel to manage legal risks and ensure business objectives are met. Provide project-based support, manage overflow work, and assist with ad hoc legal queries as required. Requirements Qualified lawyer with at least 3 years’ PQE gained in a reputable law firm and/or in-house environment. Strong experience in corporate and commercial law; exposure to one or more of the following areas is an advantage: technology, data privacy, banking and finance, oil and gas, shipping, or fintech. Excellent drafting, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and handle a broad range of legal matters across jurisdictions.
