Overview
The Human Resource Business Partner, WRB Singapore and ASEAN Markets is a senior HR leader who thrives on transformational change and works with agility across the Wealth & Retail Banking (WRB) organisation in Singapore & ASEAN Markets. The role reports directly to the Head of HR Singapore and ASEAN and acts as the primary HR contact for the Head, WRB Singapore, ASEAN and South Asia. While not directly overseeing South Asia, the role works in close partnership with the WRB HR Lead for South Asia to ensure alignment and seamless delivery of the People agenda.
The role supports the Head, WRB Singapore, ASEAN and South Asia, WRB Heads of various Products/ Segments in the ASEAN cluster, the WRB ASEAN Markets Heads and their WRB MT members. It serves as the interface between WRB Business leaders and HR to land relevant WRB People Priorities in Singapore and WRB ASEAN Markets and contribute to SG and ASEAN people priorities as part of a collaborative team.
The role operates with agility across SEA WRB markets to execute WRB people priorities with respective Country Heads of HR, WRB HRBPs, WRB Heads of HR and CoEs as the primary. It engages WRB Singapore & ASEAN & SA HRMT, global stakeholders, functional partners, and market stakeholders to support the above. As an active member of WRB HRLT and Singapore/ASEAN HRMT, the role contributes to strategic decision making, provides HR insight to support WRB business performance, and ensures WRB People considerations are embedded in management discussions.
The role is responsible for embedding business-driven operating models, building a truly skills-based organisation, embedding value-driven talent management, inclusive and ambitious leadership, and culture in service of excellence. It requires cross-functional collaboration across WRB Business and HR ecosystems with a focus on building effective relationships with peers and partnering with CoEs to deliver integrated solutions that refine and execute WRB People Priorities to meet Group commitments.
