The School of Education is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified professionals to join our team as Sessional Lecturers for teaching and learning support across postgraduate courses in Special and Inclusive Education and Early Childhood Intervention. Courses May Include

1) Supporting Communication Skills 2) Contemporary Issues in Early Childhood Intervention 3) Social-Emotional Learning and Positive Behaviour Supportfor children 0-5 years 4) Collaborative and Inter-disciplinary Approaches in Early Childhood Intervention 5) Critical Reflections in Special and Inclusive Education Settings 6) Education of Students with Learning Difficulties 7) Teaching Methods and Techniques in Special and Inclusive Education 8) Research in Inclusive Education 9) Policy, Administration and Collaboration in Special and Inclusive Education 10) Introduction to Challenging Behaviour and Positive Support 11) Educating Students with Developmental Diversity Key Responsibilities

Online and/or face-to-face teaching Facilitation of tutorials, workshops, and seminars Assessment marking and moderation Student consultation and academic support Contributing to high-quality learning experiences in inclusive education and early childhood intervention Supporting the university's commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and student success Selection Criteria

Applicants should demonstrate: A PhD or Master's degree (with a minimum of five years relevant professional experience)in:Special and Inclusive Education, Early Childhood Intervention, Early Childhood Education (specialisation in inclusion or disability), Speech Pathology, Educational Psychology, Applied Behaviour Analysis, Disability StudiesOra closely related discipline. Evidence of effective university-level teaching and facilitation skills, along with a commitment to delivering high-quality student-centered learning experiences. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas: Inclusive education, Early childhood intervention, Developmental diversity, Communication support and augmentative communication, Positive behaviour support, Learning difficulties and disabilities, Collaborative and interdisciplinary practice. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with academic and professional staff. Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to contribute effectively as a member of a cohesive and collegial team. Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and culturally responsive educational practices. Digital capability and experience using online learning environments such as Canvas,Zoom, or equivalent systems. Desirable

Experience teaching postgraduate students. Current or recent professional practice in special education, disability services, early intervention, speech pathology, psychology, or related settings. Experience supervising student research projects. Evidence of scholarship, research, or professional engagement relevant to the discipline. Understanding of Australian inclusive education policies and contemporary practices.
