Hotel Operations Coordinator Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hotel Operations Coordinator. This role will be responsible for providing administrative support to the hotels team and hotel supply network.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and possess strong problem-solving abilities. They will also have experience in e-commerce operations, marketing support, hotel reservations/coordination, or revenue/yield management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the hotels team and hotel supply network.
- Support the team in maintaining hotel relationships and coordinating with other departments for assigned projects.
- Train new hotel partners on using the extranet, including managing rates and availability on the site.
- Assist with hotel activation processes.
- Work closely with Market Managers to manage supplier accounts.
- Resolve issues related to accounting, allotments, notifications, cancellations, and other operational matters.
- Conduct market and competitor research.
- Evaluate performance/production and recommend appropriate follow-up actions.
- Prepare business review reports as required.
- Coordinate merchandising activities with hotel partners, including special deals and promotions.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of content and photos for both new and existing hotels.
- Handle ad-hoc administrative requests and operational tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in e-commerce operations, marketing support, hotel reservations/coordination, or revenue/yield management (experience in OTA is a plus).
- Minimum Bachelor's degree holder.
- Detail-oriented, with strong ability to learn quickly.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Dynamic, positive, and a strong team player.
- Proficient in computer applications and systems.
