Responsibilities A brief summary of your job responsibility: Design, implement, and maintain Wide Area Network (WAN) and Data Center network solutions that support organizational objectives. Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices to provide a reliable service. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues proactively to ensure minimal downtime. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement network policies, procedures, and best practices. Participate in network capacity planning and performance tuning efforts. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures. Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements to network infrastructure. Assist in network security management including firewall configurations, VPN, and intrusion detection systems. Support disaster recovery efforts and conduct regular backups of network configurations. Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of experience in designing and managing WAN and Data Center networks. Strong expertise in routing and switching protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP). Proficient with network devices and configuration (Cisco, Juniper, Arista, etc.). Hands-on experience with network security technologies (firewalls, IPSec VPN, etc.). Familiarity with cloud networking and virtualization is a plus. Ability to analyze and optimize network performance metrics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders. Relevant industry certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, etc.) are highly desirable.
