Primary Chinese Tutor Position

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Chinese Tutor to join our team. As a dedicated educator, you will have the opportunity to teach Chinese language to Primary 1-6 students and help them improve their skills in oral, writing, reading, and comprehension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Chinese language to Primary 1-6 students according to the latest MOE syllabus.
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons focused on oral, writing, reading, and comprehension skills.
  • Mark assignments and provide constructive feedback.
  • Track student progress and work closely with parents to support learning.
  • Prepare learning materials and support curriculum development when needed.
  • Maintain a positive, encouraging learning environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree or Master Degree in Chinese Language, Education, or related field.
  • Strong command of spoken and written Mandarin and able to explain in English.
  • Familiar with MOE Chinese syllabus for Primary level.
  • Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred.
  • Patient, encouraging, and passionate about teaching.
  • Able to work on weekends (a must).

Benefits:

  • Monthly Salary: $2,500 - $4,000 (depending on experience and performance).

Working Schedule:

The successful candidate will be required to work 5.5 to 6 days per week (including weekends). Off-days will typically be on weekdays and can be discussed further.
