ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Duties and responsibilities include the following: Maintain worksheet/yard check of where specific trailers are needed in specific doors. Coordinate movement of trailers to specific doors and locations on the yard via switch engine. Will communicate with dispatchers, Loading Dock Supervisors and Management Staff of location of trailers on the yard. Make local runs to other offices/stores using tractor and trailer. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Other related duties may be assigned. Qualifications Regular and Punctual Attendance is required Ability to lift 50 pounds continuously without assistance Works well independently and as a member of a team Must be able to operate all necessary equipment. Class A CDL license is a plus Must have good oral communications skills. Must be able to simultaneously handle multiple tasks according to deadlines. Previous switcher experience helpful. Requirements Must be able to work various shifts with a notice, as work changes Must be able to follow detailed instructions Must be able to work effectively with others both within and outside the department. Must be able to work in heights greater than ten (10) feet above floor level. Carries out projects and all other appropriate and reasonable duties that may be assigned from time to time.
